Tanagan Bay Anchorage (Tablas east)

A lovely sheltered bay with a nice beach and no fringing reef on Tablas, a good stop for boats working between Odiongan, San Agustin and Romblon.

Position: Arnak (2012), 12°29.825'N 122°00.665'E in 3 m mud; 'lovely sheltered bay in NE with nice beach, no fringing reef', depth shoals gradually. Solita (2012) notes Tablas' north-south shape gives protected anchorages on the lee side in both monsoons - pick your side by wind. Facilities not reported; sari-sari stores in the nearby villages.
