Sugar Beach Anchorage (Santa Fe)
11° 8.6′ N · 123° 47.9′ E · approximate
A NE-monsoon anchorage off Bantayan's south coast west of Santa Fe, off the resorts of Sugar Beach.
Practical
Approximate position about 0.75 km south of Sugar Beach as mapped in OpenStreetMap (11.1509°N 123.8021°E); not a logged spot. Solita (2012): anchorage during the NE season to the west of Sugar Beach on the south coast, but the fringing reef does not allow you to anchor close to shore. Webb also recommends the south coast west of Santa Fe in northerly weather. Approach in good light and sound in.
