Secret Beach (Matinloc)

11° 10.6′ N · 119° 16.9′ E

A tiny beach behind Matinloc's cliff face, reached by swimming through a small crevice in the rock.

Practical

OpenStreetMap 'Secret beach' node on Matinloc. Jump in and swim through the crevice; at high tide you may need to dip your head briefly. Impossible in heavy swell. Daily visitor cap with advance slot booking via accredited agencies (2026). Yachts: no published anchorage on Matinloc's south side - pick up a Tapiutan Strait mooring (about 1.7 nm north) and come down by dinghy in settled weather; entry is through a small crevice that needs a duck-dive at high tide and is skipped in heavy swell.
