Pacifico Reef Break

9° 56.7′ N · 126° 6.3′ E · approximate

An exposed left-hand reef off Pacifico Beach in San Isidro, rarely crowded, with consistent waves from the NE trade swell.

Practical

Approx: Surf-forecast gives only 9.95N 126.10E (which falls on land); pin offset about 300 m seaward (east) of the OSM Pacifico Beach centroid. Left-hand reef; NE swell, best with SW (offshore) wind; hazard: submerged rocks (Surf-forecast). Philippine Beach Guide (2019) calls it an expert wave; the 2026 guide says Pacifico Beach suits beginners and intermediates with lessons at PHP 600 including board and instructor and a PHP 20 beach entrance - the inside beach waves are the easier ones. A road trip from General Luna (about 1 hour); not a yacht anchorage - open Pacific coast.

Best for

Uncrowded north-island surf
