Maasin River Mangrove and Firefly Tour

Paddle or ride a river boat up the palm-lined Maasin River into the mangroves, and come back after dark to see fireflies.

Fees (Philippine Beach Guide, July 2026): entrance PHP 30; river cruise boat PHP 600 (1-3 pax); bamboo raft PHP 20/head; mangrove tour PHP 1,500 (1-6 pax); firefly watching PHP 1,000 (1-3 pax). About 30 minutes by road from General Luna. Bring insect repellent for the firefly trip.
