A sand-patch anchorage between the villages of Kantiasay and San Pedro on Nonoc Island, NE of Surigao, that gave good shelter in strong NE winds.
Practical
Hacking Family: 09 51.02N 125 35.07E, 35 ft sand, Globe 4G / Smart 3G. Only hazard a green float mid-bay; deep until close in, shallows have fish traps/pens - favour the east side and the big sand flat. A long footbridge links the villages (Wikivoyage: 391 m, among the country's longest) and blocks the lagoon except for dinghies at its high spot. Local outrigger ferry from San Pedro to Surigao about 7 am, back about noon.
