Concepcion Falls

12° 3.4′ N · 119° 58.5′ E

A freshwater waterfall a short walk above Concepcion village on Busuanga's west coast, the easiest cool dip for crews anchored in Busuanga Bay.

Practical

Mapped in OpenStreetMap (waterfall at 12.0559N 119.9753E) with a trail sign 'Path to waterfall, 5 min walk' near the road at 12.0565N 119.9738E. Busuanga municipality (via Wikipedia) lists it 17 km from the poblacion, reachable by road and water, an ideal place for a dip in cool fresh water. Flow depends on rain: Hackingfamily notes the area's waterfalls are worth visiting in the wet season and they found little in the dry season. From Busuanga Bay take the dinghy to the landing below Pirate Divers at the head of the inlet (RCC 2025) or anchor off Concepcion and land at the village.
