Cobrador Island

12° 39.6′ N · 122° 14.3′ E

An island barangay north-west of Romblon (formerly Nagoso), with a white-sand beach on its east side and Simbahan Cave, the largest natural cave in the islands.

Practical

Position from OpenStreetMap island outline. Cobrador Beach on the east side has fine white sand and crushed coral. Simbahan Cave is believed to have been an ancient burial ground; treat it with respect. Around Cobrador are Romblon's northern dive sites: Naguso's Wall (to 40 m, fusiliers, frogfish), Coral Garden East and West (to 35 m), and Sunken Island (10–30 m). No anchoring data published; sound in off the east beach in settled weather.
