Bounty Beach (Malapascua)
11° 19.9′ N · 124° 7.3′ E
Malapascua's long powder-white south-coast beach, lined with palms, native-style resorts and dive shops - the island's front door and the view from the main anchorage.
Practical
Coordinates from OpenStreetMap. Named by the Cocobana resort some decades ago; locally the island is Logon. Land dinghies on the sand (east end where local boats land) and tie a long painter to a palm. Busy with dive bangkas morning and afternoon. Mangrove Bay and the lighthouse are walking distance; a walk round the whole island takes about 3 hours.
Best for
Swimming and resort life off the main anchorage
