The 555 nm offshore race from Pensacola Bay across the Gulf of Mexico and the Loop Current to a finish off the north end of Isla Mujeres - run since 1965 and co-hosted by the Club de Yates Isla Mujeres, with a famous welcome on the island.

Coordinate is approximate: a point off the north end of Isla Mujeres, where the race site places the finish. Sponsoring clubs: Southern Yacht Club, Pensacola Yacht Club and Club de Yates Isla Mujeres. The 32nd edition started May 5, 2026; the race is now held every other year (next expected 2028 - verify). Course record 59:03:54 (2002). Expect the harbor and marinas to be busy in the week after the start.
