Puerto Morelos Fuel (El Cid Fuel Dock and Town Pemex)

20° 51.3′ N · 86° 53.9′ W

Two options in Puerto Morelos: Marina El Cid's fuel dock for diesel and gasoline alongside, or the Pemex station on the highway, a taxi ride from the waterfront, for jerry-can top-ups when you are anchored off the town.

Practical

Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap Pemex station at the Puerto Morelos highway junction (Carretera Reforma Agraria-Puerto Juárez, 20.85553, -86.89811). It is about 2.5 km inland from the town square, so plan on a taxi with your cans. Marina El Cid (20.8348, -86.8898, south of town) lists a diesel and gasoline fuel dock, plus ice, bait and tackle, potable water and pump-out. The inlet and marina carry 9-12 ft (3-4.5 m); call on VHF 16 or phone (52) 998 871 0185 before coming in. Fuel prices and fuel-dock hours are not published: verify locally.
