Mercado Pino Suárez (Mazatlán)
23° 12.1′ N · 106° 25.3′ W
Mazatlán's iron-framed central market, finished in 1899. Under one roof it sells fresh produce, meat, seafood, and inexpensive crafts and kitchenware, and it is the best place to stock up on fruit and vegetables before a crossing.
Practical
Two blocks from the cathedral in Centro. The Ley Centro supermarket (open 7 am–10 pm daily) is a block east for packaged goods. For the marina district there are Soriana supermarkets on the main avenues; take a taxi back with heavy loads. Get there early for the best produce. Coordinate is from Wikivoyage.
Best for
Fresh produce and meat provisioning
