LP Gas (Propane) Refill, Cozumel

20° 29.5′ N · 86° 56.0′ W · approximate

The building OpenStreetMap labels 'Zeta Gas' on the east side of San Miguel - the lead to follow if you need to refill a propane (gas LP) cylinder on the island.

Practical

Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap building named 'Zeta Gas' (approximate). We could not confirm that it refills cylinders for the public, its hours, or whether it fills foreign (US-type) bottles - ask a taxi driver or your marina for 'llenado de tanques de gas LP' and expect to leave the bottle. Noonsite (2009) describes a cruiser on Isla Mujeres needing three trips to a filling station after a marina said the small foreign bottle could not be filled - carry a Mexican adaptor/pigtail if you can and allow a day or two. Noonsite's Cozumel fuel and LPG section (January 2025) has no listing.
