Raiatea's Uturaerae yards are the Leewards' main place to leave a boat ashore for the South Pacific cyclone season.
Practical
CNI gives the cyclone season as December to April and secures stored boats with ground stakes from October to April. Book storage up to a year in advance. Raiatea Carenage also offers long-term storage. Boats can stay on the hard customs-free for up to 24 months (CNI). Check that your insurer covers French Polynesia in the season. Position is the Uturaerae yards.
