Tito's Cave (Vis)

A small cave below the summit of Hum where Tito, the Partisan leader, lived for some months in 1944 after escaping the German raid on Drvar. From Vis he directed the Partisan war and left to meet Churchill.
Practical
From Komiža take the road towards Podšpilje, then turn towards Žena Glava; park in the hairpin bend and climb about 5 minutes up a stone staircase. Free, no set hours. Take a torch. Konoba Pol Murvu in Žena Glava is close by.
