Gradina Bay (Vela Luka)

A shallow sandy bay with pine woods at the mouth of Vela Luka bay. Many crews prefer it to the town for a calm night, and it is the usual fallback when the weather turns.
Practical
About 20 buoys plus wide shallow sandy areas in 6-7 m with very good holding. Sheltered from north, east and south; open to west and south-west in bad weather. Konoba Šiloko ashore (+385 91 201 1040); the owner is a former skipper.
