Blaca Bay & Blaca Hermitage (Brač)
43° 16.5′ N · 16° 31.0′ E
A deep, pine-ringed cove on Brač's wild south coast. A 2 km path climbs about 45 minutes to a 16th-century monastery built into the cliff, now a museum.
Practical
Coordinate is the OSM bay node 'Uvala Blaca'. Depth is about 17 m in the middle, so anchor as close to the head of the cove as you can and run a line ashore. Day stop only: open to southerlies. Wear shoes and carry water for the hot climb.
Best for
A hike to a cliffside hermitage
Season
May-Oct, settled weather
