Plum Creek Anchorage
24° 45.5′ N · 76° 15.8′ W
A tiny shoal-draft anchorage north of Davis Harbour with a visible shipwreck at the entrance and a mangrove creek to explore.
Practical
Position from the ActiveCaptain marker. Enter just south of the wreck (the 'Trois Vierges', visible in about 1 m) staying mid-opening. Perfect sand; room for two to four boats. Charted depths are overstated: a 4 ft catamaran touched in 3.9 to 4.1 ft at low tide in the south end (2018). Do not anchor outside, where coral heads foul ground tackle. Comfortable in an east wind; rolly in anything northerly.
Best for
Shoal-draft boats in east winds
