Stari Grad harbour (Hvar)
43° 11.1′ N · 16° 35.7′ E
Hvar's oldest town, founded by Greeks as Pharos in 384 BC, at the head of a long bay on the north-west coast. A relaxed town quay with good restaurants and less noise than Hvar Town.
Practical
Coordinate is the OSM harbour (way 1074757545) at the town quay. About 100 berths with water and power, plus buoys off the Riva. Anchoring in the harbour is forbidden. Leave the green buoy at the start of the waterfront to starboard: it is shallow toward the quay. The ferry port is on the north side of the bay. Berths: +385 21 765 432 or +385 91 176 5290. A charter guide puts a summer night at roughly €40-102 for 33-56 ft (June 2026). Harbour master branch on the waterfront. Shops and a market in town.
