Murter Town

The main town on Murter island and the home of the families who own most of the land in the Kornati: they keep cottages out there and run many of the konobas in summer. The Kornati park office is here, and it is the obvious place to shop and buy your park ticket before heading out.

Park tickets are sold at the ABA reception on Trg Rudina (+385 22 434 077), at Marina Hramina, and by local agencies; buying here, before you enter, is much cheaper than buying from a ranger boat. Murter has banks, a pharmacy, a clinic, supermarkets and repair shops. There is no fresh water or shopping inside the park, so fill tanks and stock up here. The Murter regatta is held each April.
